Start your journey early from Haridwar. Drive through Dehradun and Mussoorie, enjoying the scenic views of lush greenery and the Shivalik ranges.

En route, stop at Kempty Falls for some sightseeing and refreshments.

Afternoon:

Continue the drive to Barkot via Yamuna Bridge.

Check-in at your hotel in Barkot and have a relaxing lunch.

Evening:

Rest at the hotel or take a short walk around Barkot town.

Prepare for the next day's journey to Yamunotri.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

🚗 Distance: ~36 km drive + 6 km trek (one way) | ⏳ Travel Time: 2-hour drive + 3-hour trek

Morning:

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek.

Begin the trek (6 km) to Yamunotri Temple. You can trek on foot, hire a pony, or take a palanquin.

Afternoon:

Reach Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund hot springs, and offer prayers at the temple.

Visit Divya Shila, a sacred rock near the temple.

Start the trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.
