Depart early from Haridwar and begin your journey towards Barkot.

Arrive in Barkot and check into your hotel.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the hotel or a local restaurant.

Rest and acclimatize to the altitude for a comfortable journey ahead.

Explore the local markets of Barkot.

Attend an optional evening Aarti at a nearby temple.

Early dinner and overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri – Return to Barkot

Distance: 36 km (drive) + 6 km (trek one way)

Morning:

Start early with breakfast and drive to Janki Chatti (1.5-2 hours).

Begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. Options include trekking, pony rides, or palanquins.

Visit Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund hot springs, and offer prayers.

Afternoon:

Have packed lunch or eat at local dhabas near the temple.

Begin your trek back to Janki Chatti.

Drive back to Barkot and relax at your hotel.

Day 3: Barkot to Haridwar

Have an early breakfast and depart for Haridwar.

Enjoy the scenic drive back, passing through Mussoorie and Dehradun.

Afternoon:

Stop for lunch en route.

Visit Rishikesh (optional) for sightseeing at Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat.

Evening:

Arrive in Haridwar by late evening.

Attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri before concluding the journey.
